In the Condemning Of Ego and Mind Be Love.

Here is a thought led by heart.

Nature is perfection. God, as the great creator of all things has created the human experience. We belong to many worlds at once and in this experience we can discover and remember who we are in our totality. By the act of finding Truth in the Love that moves all things in nature and in the different worlds we are linked to.

Mind, ego, personality are things that enable this experience. They are precious gifts given by the Great Creator, just so we can have the joy of finding our Truth in the Love that we are. Instead of negating any part of our totality, inviting one to shower any aspects of separation with love might lead you to see how beautiful your mind, given to you by God, is. Because it allows you to create the dream you are living right now and to experience this life in the way it is. Your ego too has an important service to you, without it you would be still merged into the cosmic soup, but when you shower the ego with the pure love of light, given to you by God to find out how perfect you are, the ego loses its negative aspects and becomes another important and special note in the perfect symphony of creation that is you.

It’s your personality that carries the story of you, and the traits you will find within yourself so you can discover the joy of being way more than your identity. Then you can start remembering your other identities. The collective of identities you have been in the past lives you lived that make part of your cosmic story. Then you can find out the collective of souls you make part of beyond those identities.. You can discover different aspects of yourself.. in different dimensions, in different worlds, you can become more of your own totality and discover more of your truth.

You may also go beyond all that and discover your Nothingness and your Real Truth.

So from that place although thoughts, feelings, forms, time, space or identity might not exist..

From that place, you will see the perfection of the All of Creation.

There will be no need to fight the ego or condemn the mind.

So why not practice that Now?

Be the love you are in all aspects of your life if you are going to spend time debating about those things or putting your energy into a spiritual path.

Practice the act of being Truth, and simply Be Love.

No more rejection, no more. Because all is perfect. Because all is well.

Be Aware of who You Truly Are.

The Power Of Intention: Four Steps For Setting An Intention

It’s time to change the way we think and speak about our dreams. Transforming a conversation, just like manifesting a dream, begins by setting an intention. Your intentions will assist you in taking greater control of your life.

A working definition for intention is: “to have in mind a purpose or plan, to direct the mind, to aim.” Lacking intention, we sometimes stray without meaning or direction. But with it, all the forces of the universe can align to make even the most impossible, possible.

My intention is to transform the conversation around dreams from fear and doubt, to hope and possibility, followed by action and results.

Some might say this is not the right time to dream. The media and masses say, “It’s time to be realistic.” Consider this. Without our dreams all we have is our present reality. Reality is not a bad thing. We have to know where we are so we can design the appropriate strategy for getting to where we want to be. The challenge is our attitude around “reality” and being “realistic” and what being realistic has cost us. Often that’s our passion and joy, our hopes and dreams.

Our Intentions Create Our Reality.
Our Intentions Create Our Reality.

Given the unknowns and sometimes craziness of life, there’s never been a more important time to dream and setting your intention is the first step. When should you set an intention? You could set an intention every day. Your intention could be to work less and make more, or to find a new career that you are passionate about. It could be to get healthy and physically fit, or to spend more quality time with loved ones or alone.

It can be specific and about something in particular or more like a quality, such as to be more relaxed or involved with life.

At seventy, Bessie set an intention to become a world famous photographer. Although many thought she was too old, she didn’t. She entered a photo contest where she won the first prize of $10,000. Her prize-winning photo toured around the world with a Kodak exhibit. She told me, “We’re never too old to make a dream come true.”

People set intentions on all kinds of dreams; to get married or have children, to get a job or make a career change, to write a book, lose weight, or move to a foreign country. When you set an intention and then act on it to demonstrate your commitment, amazing things occur. Intention can also give us fortitude for dealing with tough times. I am currently rebuilding my home. I simply wanted to add on a new bathroom, but with all the surprises an old (and charming) house can offer, every turn has been a shock, sometimes even a nightmare. It looks like the entire building may need to be rebuilt. My intention is to live through this process with dignity and grace. I am tested daily. It’s often not easy, but this intention has helped me maintain composure, sanity, and on a good day, a sense of humor. Intention can be used for community or social issues, global events or (literally) in your own backyard.

For example:

  • Before you get out of bed, you can intend to have a fun or productive day.
  • Before you leave the house, you can intend to have quality time with your family or roommate.
  • Before you start your car, you can intend to have a safe ride to work.
  • Before you enter your workplace, you can intend to learn something new or be helpful.
  • Before the meeting begins, you can intend to be brilliant or calm.

Four Intentional Steps:

1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

2. Share your intention with someone in a way that will supportively hold you accountable to taking action.

3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.

4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would and then, take the next step.

By setting an intention, you make it clear to yourself and others, just what you plan to do. Set an intention to redefine what it means to be serious about your dreams.

Regaining And Maintaining A Balanced State Of Being

Embodying a harmonious balance within our beingness can be one of the most beautiful and useful gifts we can give to ourselves. You will be filled with happiness and experience a constant state of bliss. When you achieve a certain level of balance, being mindful and in a constant relaxed state is the only way, even through these pretty turbulent changing times.

Often times, reaching a certain level of balance and maintaining it can be quite challenging, but I hope this article can bring some light to the subject.  Each person has a different way of balancing themselves and it all depends on their awareness and the way they are seeing the balance in everything. I don’t think there’s a specific way to integrate a balanced state within, there’s no manual. This depends strictly on the individual and their ability to recognize and embody balance, but there are some guidelines.

It is really important to bring your focus on yourself fully, to connect within and flow from there at all times. We can never find true balance outside of ourselves, whether it is in a person or a thing. Most people think there’s something missing, that that can balance and complete them, but in truth, the thing that’s missing is balance itself. No one and nothing can give you that other than yourself. The only way to create balance in your outer life is from the inner. When you are balanced internally, it will reflect in the outer as well, through your relationships, through your interactions with All that is, energy exchanges, through your experiences and just day-to-day life.

Regaining your natural state of harmonious balance requires a lot of dedication and persistence, because there are many levels, facets and aspects of self that need to be balanced.

Firstly, we need to acknowledge and become more conscious of the areas that need balancing, whatever those are ( emotional, mental etc. ) and then internalize it, reflect on it, maybe learn its purpose and how it served us, as all imbalances are in truth learning lessons we put on our path specifically for that purpose. They are not coincidental. At time we are thrown off balance and that is always an amazing opportunity for soul growth. Learn what there is to be learned, get back to your balanced state/your center and don’t be hard on yourself. At times, it’s necessary to be thrown off balance as that triggers a bigger expansion.

divine-oneness

These imbalances are usually caused by the social programming – fear and its many branches, so the easiest way to naturally regain your balance is releasing it.

The easiest example of balance I can use is the balance of the masculine and feminine energy within us. When we release the blockages related to any of those aspects of ourselves and consciously intend to embody a more harmonious balance, we naturally manifest it through our beingness. It feels like the masculine and feminine merge and become one within us and that is pefect balance. It is this perfect balance that is changes Humanity tremendously. For example, my friend Stephanie, due to her upbringing of emotionally absent parenting learned to be very capable, good at making decisions, active, etc. This did not allow the more feminine part of her nature to express itself, she was able to balance this by consciously focusing on allowing, letting go, allowing others to act, decide at times, to receive, such as accepting help, love, affection, opening more to intuition, letting go of trying to please others and honouring feeling, to not always feel she had to ‘do,’ to imagine flow and connect to that.  All types of receiving were a big part of this.

She balanced herself through that, you see ? It all depends on the situation, the individual’s ability to follow his inner guidance, his heart and will to expand and evolve. Some experiences may be similar, but in the end, it all comes down to the individual, so always trust yourself, doubting leads nowhere anyways. Know you have all you need within to return to your natural harmonious state of being, it’s in your DNA.

That is where we are headed collectively – perfect balance, which is true harmony. Enjoy your day!

Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu: The Mantra Of Oneness

How many times have you taken someone else’s negative personality or rude behavior?  It’s so easy to get wrapped up in our own worlds, our own issues and forget that other people are fighting their own battles. This week, commit to serving the overall happiness and freedom in your community to committing to the mantra.  This week when other people get you down, instead of wishing negativity onto them, recite this mantra. By being a being of light, you are not only living in positivity, you are improving your karma and vibe. This is considered to be the mantra of Oneness.

“Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu” roughly translates to:

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

Let’s dissect the mantra:

Lokah: People or universe                                                                       Samastah: All beings living in the same location                   Sukhino: Free from suffering, centered in happiness                          Bhav: The state of unified existence or the divine mood                 Antu: May it be so, it must be so

In the expansiveness of this mantra – we all become one.  As we chant and our hearts expand, we contain and collapse into the heart of the Universe.  One rhythm that is breathtaking in its simplicity.

This mantra also calls us to look mindfully at our thoughts, words and actions.  Are we truly contributing to the happiness of all beings?  What does that look like in our lives and how can we expand it with love?

Bill Murray: Comedian and Now Spiritual Teacher?

I remember growing up in the 90’s, watching films like Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Space Jam, Charlie’s Angels (it was an OK movie alright? :p ) , Osmosis Jones, The Royal Tenenbaums, Lost in Translation and so on…. and I always remember Bill Murray’s smart lines and facial expressions. I enjoyed watching his films.

002-bill-murray-theredlist

Being a comedian usually means that people tend not to take you seriously in everyday life, and that is unfair sometimes. What happens in cases like this, when even though somebody is a comedian, has a really strong message to deliver?

Most probably nobody will actually pay much attention, which again is unfair.

But….what happens when famous comedians go through a spiritual awakening, and try to use their fame and publicity to actually share some perspective, teachings and even raise the consciousness in the planet? Yes I mean that and it has taken place in the past few years in several cases like Bill Murray, Jim Carrey, Russel Brand and many others.

I think it comes as a surprise at first glance. My personal advice is to close your eyes, forget the face (linking to comedy and humor) and listen to the voice of the soul speaking, with no judgement preferably.

The incentive behind me writing this article is a question which a reporter asked Bill Murray at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival during a press conference, after the screening of his latest film St. Vincent.

“How does it feel to be you?”

I thought that I would not hear something new or something that would catch my attention, especially coming from a comedian that I did not know has had a “spiritual awakening”. And again, try to forget who Bill Murray is or what he does for a living or how many times he has made you laugh.

Take a step back, close your eyes and have a listen to his reply posted below :

“Let’s all ask ourselves that question right now: What does it feel like to be you? What does it feel like to be you? Yeah. It feels good to be you, doesn’t it? It feels good, because there’s one thing that you are — you’re the only one that’s you, right?

So you’re the only one that’s you, and we get confused sometimes — or I do, I think everyone does — you try to compete. You think, damn it, someone else is trying to be me. Someone else is trying to be me. But I don’t have to armor myself against those people; I don’t have to armor myself against that idea if I can really just relax and feel content in this way and this regard.

If I can just feel… Just think now: How much do you weigh? This is a thing I like to do with myself when I get lost and I get feeling funny. How much do you weigh? Think about how much each person here weighs and try to feel that weight in your seat right now, in your bottom right now. Parts in your feet and parts in your bum. Just try to feel your own weight, in your own seat, in your own feet. Okay? So if you can feel that weight in your body, if you can come back into the most personal identification, a very personal identification, which is: I am. This is me now. Here I am, right now. This is me now. Then you don’t feel like you have to leave, and be over there, or look over there. You don’t feel like you have to rush off and be somewhere. There’s just a wonderful sense of well-being that begins to circulate up and down, from your top to your bottom. Up and down from your top to your spine. And you feel something that makes you almost want to smile, that makes you want to feel good, that makes you want to feel like you could embrace yourself.

So, what’s it like to be me? You can ask yourself, “What’s it like to be me?” You know, the only way we’ll ever know what it’s like to be you is if you work your best at being you as often as you can, and keep reminding yourself: That’s where home is.”
