Full Interview: Lakiba Pittman And The Art Of Compassion

“Compassion and tolerance are not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength.”―Dalai Lama

I often ask myself why we are here; practising spirituality, learning about things that aren’t so easily explainable and it often confuses me. If we are spiritual beings, maybe we are here to experience something else. In my way of seeing, as spirit beings we might be here to learn about something else. Perhaps we are here to learn how to be human. And to understand what being human is.  I truly believe this gets distorted and even the term humanity can be misunderstood.

hu·man:
of, relating to, or characteristic of people or human beings.

hu·mane:
having or showing compassion or benevolence.

To learn how to be human might be related to how we connect and  learn what our true nature is while being physically contained in a body, whilst being so emotional and, at times, so fragile. But who can teach humanity that our natural state is actually harmony? How can we be guided into such a state of equilibrium, of love and compassion?  For sure, Lakiba Pitman is doing her job when it comes to this.

Lakiba Pittman is one of those super humans, teaching others how to be their best self.  She is a multi-talented artist, writer, poet and teacher. Her gifts are many, but whilst interviewing her what really came to mind (and heart) was how her dedication to helping others discover the compassionate side of themselves can really inspire and make positive changes in our society.

Sometimes we truly forget what makes us so similar. Whilst interviewing Lakiba, talking about her journey and line of work, we also talked about how simple and easy it is to touch someone’s heart.  Because it doesn’t take much,  we are truly connected, deep down we care so much for each other that we have been told to hide it, put the mask on, pretend we are cold hearted. Because our vulnerability and fragility, the very things that make us so precious and alive, are not valued in our society.

In her interview, you can watch how simple gestures can change someone’s life, how cultivating compassion and coming from a place of love and understanding can truly make us feel alive and more humane.

Here is the interview for you to watch:

Acting from compassion is easier said than done, or at least this is an excuse some like to use. The truth is we are compassionate by nature. Unnaturally, we are raised in a society that makes us forget that, unnatural because we know in our hearts what makes us feel good and what makes us fulfilled, and acting with kindness and compassion never made anyone say ” Oh dear, I think I was too kind!”. Being giving and caring is our true nature, not the opposite. When we are angry, unkind and disrespectful towards others it hurts us, we punish ourselves for our behaviour, and we pay the price with suffering and heartache.

Once we understand, and start practising and living in a more compassionate way, our lives become so much easier. It starts making sense because we start living in the way we are meant to. Connected through our humanity.

Lakiba has also written an amazing book to help remind us of our true essence. In this video, you can learn more about the book and her inspiration for it.

Full Interview: Stephanie Marian – The Truth Is Always Simple

Stephanie Marian counsels, writes, talks, mentors and dedicates her life to assisting others transform fear into love and limitedness into freedom. She facilitates their consciousness expansion, their growth and so much more. She truly helps others change their lives.

As she says:

” Fear and love are the same thing, the difference between water and ice. Just as a setback is a necessary part of growth, not taking us back in any real sense but rather retreating in the familiar to again renew our desire to go forward, to consolidate and assimilate, to often, galvanise. We see things this way, in terms of setbacks or progress because we apply them to a linear framework, as in time. We need to understand, we are not limited by time, that is a creation of the mind, a particularly human construct.

There is only energy, it creates movement or the block thereof (fear) creates a stage play, in which we have the lead role and every role – exploring through our senses, limitation. We are all, have all been playwrights and players in this play, return to it to deepen our experience from ‘time to time.’ These ‘fear dramas’ feel like setbacks. ‘Setbacks’ are also, very creative. We are creating the essence required for change, building in intensity in order to expand, move so called, forward. “

Some of the topics discussed in this interview are:

  • Her ability(which everybody possesses) is to feel emotions and thoughts as energy. Fear in it’s many forms is dense, like rocks in a river. Love and the things that come from it is light, it’s growth – unlimited. One creates contraction, the other expansion.
  • Whatever we hold onto, wherever we put our focus, we are creating. We are creation, as is everything.
  • One of her favourite quotes is: ” We are not a drop (of water) in the ocean, you are the entire ocean in a single drop.” – Rumi
  • Energy, in thought, emotion or deed, attracts, draws to it the same. Jealousy for example in one, will often mirror insecurity, self loathing in another. Like attracts like. It’s an energetic loop and the only remedy is love, it’s always love. The big revelation is that it’s not anyone else’s love we need, but profoundly, all is eased by self-love; eased, lifted, expanded and fundamentally, freed. The truth is always simple, as she likes to say.
  • We look for complicated answers and complex formulas, distracting diversions of the mind but it’s beautifully simple. At the root of every dis-ease, imbalance, fear, issue and problem is a lack of, a cry for more self-love.
  • She understood through a revelatory moment some years ago that we are all connected, we are connected to All. For each person that she can help, she’s a mirror as she is able to show them what they’re trying to tell themselves, what holds them back, to guide them home to themselves. This also frees her, frees us all.
  • It’s freedom that excites her and fuels her fire.

Exclusive Diana Cooper Interview: September Wave X – Archangel Connections – Atlantis Crystal

When we hear about ascension there is a lot of speculation around the subject. The fact is people are awakening. I can only speak for myself and my personal experiences as well as of those whom I know and observe. What I mean is something has been changing within myself, and each one of us,  the world is changing. It’s not just a feeling or an idea; it’s also not based only on observation of my external reality and how things are developing in a global scale, It’s a inner knowing. It’s something that can’t be explained to others, it has to be part of oneself so one can fully understand and trust this inner wisdom – the Ascension is here!

As a beginner on my spiritual path, or like I prefer to call it :in my path of awakening to my own divinity, I had a lot of trouble understanding those changes and being able to adjust to them. It was not long ago, October 2014, when I found myself lost without understanding what was going on and how to gain insight in my awakening process. It was back then a dear friend, at the time a complete stranger pointed me in the right direction, she suggested I should read a book called ” Ascension Guide, ”  by Diana Cooper.

Little did I know about what was to come in my path , in my life, and how everything I believed in would completely change. I’m right in the middle of this hot mess called ascension process , at  an individual level you may even think you are going crazy; that nothing you used to think makes sense, that you are having this calling to give up all your previous beliefs and trust in these mystical things you have not much understanding of, things that can’t be explained rationally , but felt and trusted in.

The point I’m trying to make about Ascension is that it can be overwhelming,   equally at times is not easy  to fully trust and have blind faith in it, but it sure helps when amazing people such as Diana Cooper have been so proactive in their mission to help others in their process.

Meeting Diana at the Archangel Guide Worksop in London .

I first met Diana in one of her workshops in London in 2015 and I could not help but admire her work and how much her message has helped me and many others to understand the ascension process and how to fully embody it within ourselves.

Diana is a truly walking master, her light shines wherever she is. You can feel her warmth and bright energy not only in person but also while reading her books or being in contact with her work.

In this interview, Diana tells us about how her own journey started but also goes into  the changes that are currently taking place in the ascension process.

Some of the topics discussed in this interview are :

*What are the big changes happening in September that will catapult Humanity on the awakening path , what will change in humanity’s consciousness and how?

* How can we facilitate the ascension process within ourselves and others ?

*What can we do  to actively and proactively connect with Archangels energies?

* How do we learn about merging aspects of self and working alongside Ascended Masters?

Diana’s work is of great relevance and she has written so many books, which explore the ascension process and explain about mighty energy beings, such as Archangels, mystical beings, Ascended Masters and much more.  She also has written about many others key spiritual facts such energy Orbs and Atlantis. Learn How To Silence Your Mind – Oprah Winfrey Interviews Jill Bolte Taylor: Watch Full Interview

” Being a PhotoReading Instructor and Trainer in Accelerated Learning and how to open up your intuition and creativity, this interview with Oprah Winfrey was of particular interest to me. Oprah was interviewing Dr Bolte Taylor, the Harvard Doctor and Brain Scientist who suffered a stroke which opened up to a whole new ‘right hemisphere’ world of peace, flow and contentment.

As Dr Bolte Taylor talked about her experience one of the other things that struck me was her constant reference to energy, and the importance of energy and intention. “

The Music Warrior Nahko Bear

“Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it a rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.”_ Unknown

Some people will hear the call…  When they do, it will be so powerfully loud that there will be no other way to deal with it rather than them proudly following it.

Some people will lead you… It’s just the way it is. They will have such a strong mission; they have to wear the warrior’s armour and live under it.

Nahko Bear is with no doubt a warrior, a music warrior. His spirit, bright and shining, is on a mission, and part of this mission is to awaken the people.  Awakenings can be of various kinds and can happen in various ways. Nahko is here to bring a magical type, starting with the power of his music, then going into his message and his kindness.

When I first heard his songs, I felt my soul immediately expand in awe and wonder.

Aloha, Aloha Ke Akua, Ke Akua, Aloha, Aloha, Kuleana, Kuleana.” If you haven’t heard their music, here is a link to this wonderful song full of life and spirit.

Nahko Bear -The Music Warrior

When you meet a warrior you are not sure what to expect, especially if this warrior makes sure everyone feels he is just like everyone else and that we are all the same and all connected.

His soul is young and playful, and at the same time full of life, joy and light; loads of light. He is very passionate for his mission and dedicated to his fans and his Ohana band (Hawaiian name for family).

Interviewing Nahko was very inspiring, and getting to know him a little and the whole band was a great experience. Nahko is very transparent; what you see is what you get. He is present, and his kindness is seen in the way he treats the fans with such care and respect.

You can listen to the whole interview here:

Nahko is like a big kid very playful , that’s a big personality trait on open hearted people

“I think our music promotes the bridging of all tribes,” Nahko says. “The lyrics and the stories and our energy as a group break down people’s walls. You’ll find us in the most unique places on earth because it’s real, raw, and honest storytelling about what we’ve been through and what we believe in. And that’s why people connect with it. I think that’s the most important thing you can do with music.”_ Nahko Bear

Seeing Nahko and the Medicine for the People perform live was certainly an experience I’ll never forget; they were just unbelievably amazing, and you can read more about this here.
