“Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light‐years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. So are our emotions in the presence of great art or music or literature, or acts of exemplary selfless courage such as those of Mohandas Gandhi or Martin Luther King, Jr. The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both.”
― Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark
Independent documentary exploring the validity of the spiritual realm and the existence of a greater universal design than is commonly accepted by the average human. The approach used in this film is through experiential accounts rather than the traditional data and facts, you as the audience member is left as the judge.
“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving” – Mother Teresa
As many wise individuals have stated throughout history, true change comes from within, it comes from a thought, from a feeling, from an idea and most importantly from the heart. That is the kind of awareness we are trying to share with all, as simple shifts in people’s consciousness can bring the most joyous global changes. We are the change and we are the ones creating it.
Our main intention is to give our assistance and support to all those whom ask for it and whom need it. With this in mind, we have started our first project called “Homeless Care Project.” It emerged in London, UK, but we are hopeful that with the right resources and sponsorship we will extend this project globally.
Our aim for this project is bringing awareness on the situation of homeless people, practical solutions to homelessness and taking action into helping as many homeless people as we can. We are working on providing them with the basic needs a human should have, with comfort, support and care. At the same time, we are teaching them ways they can grow through the homelessness phase and start becoming self-sustaining. Part of this education is presenting them with way they can change their lives. For that, we intend to go to homeless shelters or create events that allow us to connect and speak to them.
First steps of this project started in South London , where we logged a few of the homeless and connected to them on a personal level exploring their needs and how our free training can be implemented in their lives with the objective to empower themselves to be self-sustainable and able to leave the streets. The training combines psychology and meditation techniques as well as counselling . The second stage of the project links to incorporating and facilitating their journey until they are out of the streets.
We have faith in humanity and we believe that there are people out there who hold a great amount of altruism and kindness, enough to actively participate in the evolution of our society. A good example of a person with those qualities would be Aaron Wilson, who is the first person who sponsored the Heart Evolution Foundation’s Homeless Care Project.
” The Homeless Care Project is an incredibly worthwhile cause that I am proud to support. Many understand the meaning of the word ‘homeless’ but are unaware of the situations of those it effects. HCP works to not only raise this awareness and encourage others to take action; but to also directly and positively help those affected by it.
Their direct approach provides accessible ways to really transform people’s lives whilst being supported on a basic level that every human deserves. They will have my ongoing support as they continue their incredible work. “
We are forever grateful for the generosity of people like Aaron, the Director, because it allows us to expand our area of reach.
You can choose to participate as well. As I’ve said before, it all starts with an idea, so if you have an idea about how you can participate in the project and if you feel compelled to do so, you can send an e-mail to Info@thepowerwithinus.co.uk .
The Spiritual Heart — is in a way a little like a smart phone, invisibly connecting us to a large network of information. It is through an unseen energy that the heart emits that humans are profoundly connected to all living things. The energy of the heart literally links us to each other. Every person’s heart contributes to a ‘collective field environment.’ This short video explains the importance of this connection and how we each add to this collective energy field. The energetic field of the heart even connects us with the earth itself.
The HeartMath Institute (http://www.heartmath.org) is helping provide a more comprehensive picture of this connection between all living things through a special science-based project called the Global Coherence Initiative (http:///www.heartmath.org/gci.) They hope to help explain the mysteries of this connection between people and the earth…and even the sun.
Scientists at the HeartMath Institute (HMI) have already conducted extensive research on the power of heart, the heart/brain connection, heart intelligence and practical intuition.
Whether personal relationships, social connections, or even the global community – we are all connected through a field of electromagnetic energy. Increasing individual awareness of what we bring to this field environment could be the key to creating a sustainable future, a future that we can be proud to have helped create. This short documentary is presenting us with insights about how our world is functioning at the moment, which is based on dysfunctional outdated systems and how it would be like if the people of the world would step into their potential and power as One.
” What if the world embodied our highest potential? What would it look like? As the structures of modern society crumble, is it enough to respond with the same tired solutions? Or are we being called to question a set of unexamined assumptions that form the very basis of our civilization?
This 25-minute retrospective asks us to reflect on the state of the world and ourselves, and to listen more closely to what is being asked of us at this time of unprecedented global transformation. ”
