The 6 Steps To Detoxify The Body Of Toxic Chemicals

It is becoming more and more known that certain chemicals affect a big part of the world population in an undesirable way. There have been many scientific studies that have shown a link between chemicals and some mental disorders  labeled as autism or ADHD.

An example would be the research published in The Lancet by researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). They proved that many industrial chemicals, including fluoride, are lowering IQ in children and can cause autism and other mental disorders, as well as many other serious health diseases.

The experts named around 12 of these neurotoxins that can be found in our environment, clothing, furniture, certain food and drinks, such as: manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, mercury, lead, ethanol, arsenic, toluene, DDT/DDE etc.

A study in last year’s British Medical Journal estimated that perhaps 75% of most cancers are caused by environmental and lifestyle factors, including exposure to these chemicals.

Another report, this one by the Columbia University School of Public Health, estimated that 95% of cancer is caused by diet and environmental toxicity.

Some of the short- and long-term effects of these toxins include:

  • Neurological disorders (Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, depression, attention deficit disorder, schizophrenia, etc.)

Our bodies have been heavily affected by toxic chemicals, it can take up to two or three months to get them out of our system, so we need to be committed to this process.   2. Buy and eat as many organic foods as possible – In study after study, research from independent organizations consistently shows organic food is higher in nutrients than traditional foods. I think it’s worth giving it a shot. Your health is more important than money.
  3. Avoid processed foods for the obvious reasons – It’s processed with chemicals. Most processed foods are high in sugar and high fructose corn syrup. People aren’t putting massive amounts of sugar on top of their coffee or cereal, the unhealthy amounts come from processed foods.  They are also loaded with artificial chemicals, including flavorants, texturants, colorants and preservatives.
  4. Switch over to natural brands – Brands of toiletries, toothpastes, antiperspirants, cleaning products, shampoo, cosmetics, air fresheners etc. These days, there are so many alternatives! You just have to do some research and find out which companies use natural ingredients and replace the old products with natural ones. For example, instead of using Airwick as a freshener, you can use  essential oils, which smell a lot nicer too.

Tea is also a great way to facilitate that. Not only is tea full of antioxidants, it hydrates you (especially if it’s herbal) and fills you up,” says Ashley Karr, a research psychologist and wellness coach. “This means you will be less likely to overeat or eat the wrong things!”

  6. Exercise as much as you can – You literally sweat the toxins out of your body. The skin is our largest organ. Often when the other detoxifying organs are compromised, toxins will begin to come through the skin, showing up as acne, rashes, blemishes, pimples or sores. Exercise helps the body’s organs of elimination to function optimally simply by getting them going. Moving the body helps to circulate both blood and lymph. 5 Ways To Maintain Your Body Free Of Toxins

I think we’re all aware by now that some of the things we’ve taken into our body, consciously or unconsciously, weren’t necessarily what our body needed. Our bodies are also shifting from carbon-based to a crystalline-based system, therefore a certain physical purification is necessary as well. Ascension is touching every aspect of ourselves and our lives, the physical is as important as every other aspect, in fact, a very important one.

Our bodies have the intelligent system to detox themselves, but we also have to consciously make sure we use that system at its best, that we maintain an optimum function and a smooth energy flow. Therefore, the fewer the toxins, the better. To facilitate this physical purification I gathered the most simple ways we can do that:

  1. Drink a lot of water, preferably with lemon. – The reasons are obvious and varied, but specifically in terms of detox, the lemon helps re-hydrate the system and promotes digestion, which will help the flow of waste out of your body.
  2. Exercise. – Get up from your sofa and jog for a few minutes, it doesn’t even have to be long, do some stretches, go on a hike or anything that encourages circulation in the blood and lymph system. Even if it’s only 20 minutes a day, or even a week, but try not to let one week pass without exercising. It’s a proven fact that people who exercise regularly have far fewer toxins in their system. I feel that what’s really important is to find the balance and not overuse sugar or any other things for that matter. It’s like with everything else; if it’s overused, it eventually becomes like a drug, therefore it’s not very beneficial to us. Even the thought that something is unhealthy, is more unhealthy than that something itself. I feel that we tend to imbalance our physical bodies more with dysfunctional thought patterns, than with food, drinks or pollution. In fact, the foods, drinks, pollution from the outer that we consider harmful are creations from the inner, from the unconscious of the collective. They have been created from fear.

What I’m saying is that, I personally feel that in all matters of this kind; food, or drinks, try to maintain a balanced attitude towards it instead of exaggerating with strict diets or anything like that, but again this is a personal reference. I won’t deny the blissful experience of eating a doughnut in it, because it has too much sugar, just saying.

The Emergence Of Self-Healing

Since there’a detox – purification – healing theme in the air and has been for a while, I thought it’s a good idea to share some information on how to ease or completely heal ourselves of “dis-ease,” to allow the natural process of detoxification to occur.

As the body becomes more sensitive, lighter, we might experience a greater sensitivity to toxins and other man made substances that are a result of a lower vibrational thought form creation. Worry not about it, our bodies are not as fragile as previously thought. Our bodies are intelligent, they are the result of eons of constant evolution. Even after so many decades of technology, information, discoveries, the modern human hasn’t been able to explore all the human body is. Why is that, you may ask ?

It’s still constantly evolving, now more than ever. Our body is made up of the most Intelligent Consciousness. Consciousness expands. We put limits to our bodies, we think we are limited to the body, we think that the body is a limit, but is it so? Aren’t these thoughts the  limitations and not the body ? Reflect profoundly on these questions. Do you hold any limiting thought patterns in your unconscious ?

We begin the self-healing when we release and let go of those patterns. That’s when your body’s natural self-healing mechanisms are being activated to their full potential.

This is a process, expect not full healing to happen over night. Patience, self-love and nurturing is needed, embodied. The body has been put through a lot of dysfunction in our many lifetimes, it gathered a lot of cellular memory that needs to be transformed into the light. We programmed our minds with many unconscious limitations. Our bodies picked up on those thinking patterns and shaped itself after those limits as well. Not to say, that the mind is the one in charge of everything, our consciousness is. Consciousness is everything we are, however it expresses itself in our human experience (mind, body, heart etc), therefore when the mind is really imbalanced and stuck in dysfunction, it is most likely to imbalance other things in there, such as the physical body, therefore  “,dis-ease” appears.

When we let go of the  patterns, we naturally transform and unify within. We reach deeper, more harmonious states of balance on every level, that’s when the deep healing really occurs. Of course, firstly, in order to let go of something, we need to be aware of what that something is. This awareness will bring clarity and ways to transform out of our psyche that which no longer serves us.

These imbalances “, dis-eases, ” on the other hand, are usually hiding some sort of blessing in them. Some have been pre-agreed, according to the individual’s wishes, choices and growth; some are showing you the areas in your life you need to become more conscious of, that might need some sort of work or healing.  Sometimes they facilitate the embodiment of something you need to embody in this lifetime. There could be many reasons and they might differ from individual to individual. We have to be able to allow the experience to show us why it manifested in the first place. Why is it trying to show us ?

That is why it is of extreme importance to be able to trust your intuition/guidance first and foremost, be aware and the rest will follow. The steps that need to be taken into healing yourself will be revealed to you, if that is what you intend to and hold no blocks of self-healing.

Loving yourself will “do the trick. ” It is how you make sure you allow the healing to occur, because when you truly love yourself, you can only want what’s best for you and intrinsically for all. That’s what the foundation of your creations will be based on, therefore unwanted manifestations will be less and less frequent, until there are no more.

Ascension Guidance: New Moon In Leo – 14 August 2015

I just wanted to say from the beginning that I am very average in terms of astrology knowledge, so this is not an astrological article. This is more of a “sourcing,” it is simply source/light information that’s being transmitted, as well as a collective energy translation into words. With all that being said, we have a new moon in Leo coming up on the 14th of August.

The energy of this new moon is very potent in terms of getting some clarity on what we really want and what’s best for us, which we will eventually discover it’s the same,  as well as always aligned with the Soul Source and its purpose. It’s all beautifully and divinely orchestrated by you and All you are, which is far beyond what we can even imagine at this point. As always, during new moons, it is always recommended to set clear intentions for the next phase, that will facilitate the creation of what you want in a conscious manner.

It is time to look deeper into your passions and discover what truly drives you, what really makes you happy. As crazy as it is and as impossible as it might look to our limited mind at times, dare to dream it. See it. What is it ? What is it you really want to do, to live, to experience ? Ponder about that in your meditations, in your present moments under the light of this new moon. Look deep. Now read this: You truly are a universal being. You come from the stars and the earth and Source. You, the Soul, are as ancient as times and beyond. Your potential is boundless. You are boundless by nature. You’ve heard this before, but have you really felt this with each and every atom of your being? If so, how can anything be impossible ?

That is what the Leo energy is facilitating – having the courage to follow your deepest Soul passions and desires. Other planets (Venus, Mars) are currently in Leo as well and are amplifying its energy, while adding some extra empowerment, making it more and more difficult to ignore and not follow our deepest passions, so why even try to do that ? The message is: Surrender to the flow, while creating and navigating it. This New Moon aligns with Venus retrograde and it is forming a trine with Uranus, which can help us reflect on the lessons we’ve learned from denying those passions and (hopefully) choosing otherwise this time.

When you truly love yourself, you can only do that – choose that which benefits your highest good. Venus in retrograde is here to show us the aspects of ourselves that are not being loved (if there still are) acknowledge, embrace and love. At the same time, there is some inner child healing as the Leo is the “child” of the zodiac, so for some this might come up as well. Awareness and presence in the now moment is really the biggest step towards healing and transmuting self. Besides that, each and every one of you have the skills and abilities to grow, expand and unify in physicality with the Soul Source and the inner child is an important part of it as it is the pure innocence facet of the Soul.

Simply connecting and embodying more of the inner child archetype characteristics will definitely assist with maintaining a higher vibrational state – a cheerful, playful approach towards the challenges we might experience during these times of great intensity, which can sometimes feel quite uncomfortable. But, we have all the tools to ease the uncomfortable part, one of it being approaching a childlike attitude. Physical symptoms can be eased by simply making sure you’re staying hydrated and listening to the body, that is nurturing it with whatever it needs to integrate smoothly these waves of light coming in and to just function properly.

There is also some purging/purification going on. If feeling unusually emotional, know that it’s normal. Simply observe the emotions and allow yourself to feel and learn what needs to be learned from them. Grow through those emotions, as you release them from your field and transform them. The same process goes for thoughts. Declutter. Detox. Let go of what no longer serves you anymore.

During the next few moments, many of our habits will change, as we deepen into the Soul Source unification process, we might lose interest in doing  things we used to do and embrace new habits that are more aligned with the Soul (e.g: eating more organic) This is a natural process, so just allow it to unfold and flow with the changes. Embrace the changes as they are all aligned with your highest good – if you so intend it. When you intend it, you create it. Happy New Moon !

Native American Healing Traditions: Tools And Healing Practices

Many healing practices and spiritual ceremonies that are being practiced today by healing practitioners and metaphysical groups have been adopted from traditions that originated from various Native American tribes. History indicates that each tribe would have one or more elders who were groomed in the healing arts. These individuals would serve as herbalists, healers, and spirit communicators. The duties and types of healing arts and spiritual ceremonies performed would naturally vary from tribe to tribe.

Tribal Leaders Disapprove of Shamanism Workshops

Today’s tribal leaders often frown on terms such as Shamanism, Shaman, and even Medicine Man being used so freely to lure students to learn Native American practices. Disapproval is warranted when seminars and workshops commercially touted as “Native Shamanism” are not purely traditional teachings, but are a packaged blend of studies which include bits of Native American ceremonies along with Wiccan spells, New Age spirituality, and Eastern medicine.

Native American Tribes and Aboriginal Tribes as well have a lot of wisdom to offer to this modern world as they lived in peace with Mother Nature, fully harmonized with her power and nurturing qualities, respecting Her and of course living by a code of great Honor and Ethos. They lived in small communities, totally “off-grid” and should be an example to the humanity. Personally I feel very drawn to this culture, maybe a past lifetime as a Shaman?

When I experienced The Kambo Spirit

I was born in the Amazon forest, Santarem Para Brazil to be more precise. My mother’s family live there, and my father’s family live in south Brazil. Although I was born there I grew up in the south of Brazil in a city called Florianopolis by the beach. It’s a massive contrast from one town to the other, with an 8-hour flight between cities!

However, in my school holidays Mum and I would go up north and visit her family while Dad stayed south working. As a kid, I had no idea of how these experiences would reflect, impact and mould my life in the future.  I played with my cousins in the Amazon river, we ran into the jungle at times and discovered much about the forest; not even aware of its majesty and its powers and dangers.

What really gets to me is the fact that, as a kid, I had no fear. We jumped into the muddy waters of the Amazon river not worrying about the dangers; piranhas, anacondas, alligators and many other massive predatory creatures that were right in the river.

I had to move all the way to London to find out more about the spiritual power of the forest. It was like it was calling me back.. As if home was calling me back.

Last Friday, the 20th of March, I had the great opportunity to once again merge with the spirit of the forest. In such a special cosmic day, where Earth, Sun and Moon were all in harmony, I too was looking into myself and finding stillness.

I had heard about Kambo before, but never really had a chance to learn more about it or experience it, not until last Friday; when I met the Frog Spirit.

Things always happen in the way they are supposed to. I was trying to change my flight to the 20th but it turned out I wasn’t able to re-schedule it, not even if I paid the extra fees. I was a little annoyed by it, but my spirit guides told me not to worry and said they had something in store for me. A day later I was invited by Maren Lander to take part in this Kambo ceremony that should be happening on Friday the 20th.

I was very sure this was meant to be; even so I made sure to ask my Shaman and other trustworthy people in my life about the ceremony. I guess it’s always nice to be reassured on your decisions. I read more about the power of Kambo and got ready for the ride.

When it comes to any spiritual ceremony, intention is the most important thing. My intention was to clean my body of toxins and get it ready for my next spiritual journey – the journey of the heart – I’m off to Hawaii on Tuesday the 24th for a personal quest of the heart.

While I waited with the others taking part in the ceremony, I was wondering how hard it would be. And not knowing what to expect, it’s one thing to read about it, but another thing entirely to actually do it!

Another crucial point of any ceremony is the Shaman. It’s very important to feel connected to the person performing any spiritual ceremony. They will be guiding you into this journey and looking after your soul, making sure it comes back to your body once it’s all over. You need to feel safe and trust this person; you don’t want to leave any part of your spiritual body behind when you return from this energetic expansion.

Anyway, the ceremony was very intense and also painful as I had to deal with a great amount of pain and letting go. I had some visions which are very hard to remember; it looked like some sort of tribe working by the river.. I do not recall what place or time, but I was too busy fighting the purging and the pain. As I said it was intense, the Shaman was very aware of my struggle and made sure I was protected and encouraged me to let go of the pain together with all the toxins I had been holding on to.

After the purging came the stillness and the lightness. The feeling of wanting to dance in the jungle with the spirit of the frog.

I’m still processing this experience before deciding if I’ll do the next two ceremonies recommended. So far I would say yes. I’m up for it.
