How To Easily Cope With And Embrace The Changing Times

What a joy change can be when we are in a state of complete surrender, of constant letting go and letting be. There might be a few moments of grief or sadness and mixed emotions as we are cleansing more and more of the old. It is absolutely normal.

Change is not easy, it usually never is. It can be very chaotic in the moment, but we can either resist it and have a really hard time with it, or surrender, lay back and observe things flowing easier. That’s when the magic and miracles happen! So how do we do this?

I feel compelled to give a few “reference points”. All our journeys, no matter how connected, they will always be unique for each person. As always, take what you feel that serves you well and leave the rest. What works for one could not work for another. It is very important to internalize, process and integrate through your own being and experience.

The “reference points” are:

      • Be Present in the moment of Now – I know you’ve probably heard this a gazillion times by now, but I cannot stress enough the importance of it. Everything happens in the Now and only in the Now we can know true surrender. Our minds tend to wander in the past or in the future and mostly we do that unconsciously, but it “steals” the joy of living. All life is in this Now moment. The Key is to be self-observant. Become the Observer for that is an aspect of the Higher Self and when you observe the mind wandering, take a deep breath and ground yourself/your energy in your body and into the Earth. In time, this becomes very natural, because truly living in the now is in our nature.
      • Let go of everything that no longer serves you – This might include unhealthy attachments to people/habits/things, lower vibrational thoughts and emotions, behaviours, belief systems and any kind of programming etc. This implies becoming aware of the things we have to let go of, because when we’re aware, we’re halfway there. The next step is taking action towards transforming through it. This transformation is again, a very individual process, and we have to find our own ways of shifting through the things that no longer serves.  Letting go is such a multi-faceted process. In truth, what letting go really means, is moving through a phase of our lives, growing through it, and really allowing us to naturally move forward, without trying to control and hold onto what was. On a more deeper level, letting go simply means surrendering and trusting that life knows what it’s doing and everything is as it should be and in one way or another we agreed to everything that led us to this moment right here.
We have to be open and accept changes in your lives – however those changes manifests themselves, how we create those changes. If we’ve created them, then it is for a reason. We have to explore the opportunities of the change and make heart-felt choices at all times. The heart can’t ever be wrong.
      • Trust and have faith – We need to trust ourselves and have faith that even though things may not happen exactly how we wanted them to happen or when we wanted them to happen they are perfectly orchestrated based on our Soul growth and expansion. Sooner or later it will be clear why things happened the way they did and epiphanies will come. The imbalanced mind is afraid of change, so it tries to instill doubt, but even this serves a purpose, as it gives us two choices – to either give in to doubt, or surrender them to the wisdom of our hearts who know and trust life is unfolding perfectly. As I have mentioned before, being self-observant is very important. We have to observe our thoughts and thought-patterns, try not to engage in the imbalanced mind chatter, simply observe and let those thoughts be, flow and dissolve in the light of the higher mind, the observant mind. Invoking the Violet Flame to assist is recommended whether it’s lower thoughts or emotions or anything that requires transformation/transmutation.
      • Be aware and responsible – Of the energy you are putting in the Universe, of your own energy, of the frequency and vibration you align yourself with, that you choose to radiate. Our state of being plays a big role in the creation of our reality. It is like the compass for the sailor. Through our states of being and what we choose to align with, we let the Universe know that that is what we want, and that is what we will get. As more light is coming in, it illuminates the areas where we hold resistance, “stagnant”/old energy might surface for it to be “recycled”, transformed. As always, being aware of this process, learning to recognise it, is the first steps towards that. This is another major aspect of self-mastery: knowing our energy, knowing how to constantly align and be in the desired frequency and vibration through choice and know how to “work” with our energy. This is not to be confused with control or manipulation of energy.
      • Have no expectations – We all have had them at some point in our lives, okay ? It’s fine, but we can change that. Having expectations implies projecting our focus into the future, wanting to know the future and assuming things will happen like we want them to, or people will treat us how we want them to and so on. But even expectations serve their purpose. They let us know when we are not present and in true surrender to what is in this now moment. Wanting to know the future shows us that there’s an aspect within ourselves that is not enjoying this moment to the fullest, that we are stealing ourselves the gift of this present moment. That aspect needs to be acknowledged, embraced and matured/unified. There are a plethora of possibilities and “future” timelines, we can tap into information about those as well, but what’s the point ? If we could know our future, would we want to ? How would that even serve us, our growth and experience ? Even if we tap into future timelines, our experience could be completely different.
      • We have our Higher Selves and a Team of Spirit Guides supporting and assisting us in every moment – No matter if a person “believes” or not they are there. This is not a “belief system,” these beings are as real as you and me, perhaps not as physical. ” Ask and you shall receive. ” It is really that simple. That doesn’t mean some godlike being will come from the sky on a white horse to “fix things” or do things for us. They are our equal, there is no need for worship, or make Spirit guides the new Jesus. It doesn’t work like that. Our team is a support system, we work together and they have agreed to assist us either temporarily for a specific purpose or for a lifetime. Our guidance comes in many forms – clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, or simply a heart knowing, a visual, a sign etc. However it comes to us is unique and perfect for each and every one of us. We need to trust our guidance/intuition. Doubt will block it from flowing through you properly. Doubt distorts. Fear distorts. As we let go of that, our guidance becomes clear and natural.
      • Become comfortable with the uncomfortable – with constant, sometimes rapid changes and adapt to them as best as you can – In recent years, changes have been quite accelerated in way, either them being external or internal, individual or collective. No matter how they look, these changes are all for the highest good of all, as decreed by all involved in it. They pinpoint the emergence of the New Earth, of a new era of Love. Resisting a change may not be the best idea, as I’ve mentioned above, it might cause unhappiness and unnecessary suffering. Find out the real reason of this resistance and shift through it. What I found best to do, and I am sure many have, is lay back and enjoy the ride, rather than giving in to fear. We can learn how to live in the excitement of change and choose to see it from a higher perspective, as we reawaken the joy and adventurous nature of the free spirits that we are. This is really a matter of perspective.
      • Change is not always easy, but it doesn’t have to be hard either – It is unfortunately deeply ingrained in the collective unconscious that change should be hard, that you have to suffer through it and that change is painful and pain equals growth, which really isn’t and doesn’t have to be the case anymore. Most of the time the pain is self-imposed. This is a big part of why some of us hold resistance towards change, we fear it, we fear the unknown. Know that change doesn’t have to be painful or dramatic. Most of the time, it is exactly what we make of it and how we choose to respond to it. There could be a lot of purging in the process, but it is only a tiny aspect of change. We are being “pushed” to release that which no longer serves us anymore. Sometimes we have to grieve the old, feel it all and let it go to make room for the “new”, for what is and what is coming. We have to allow ourselves to grieve, but not let ourselves linger in the grieving process for longer than necessary, as that becomes self-imposed.

We choose the kind of energy we asign to each experience. But isn’t it far better to let an experience be what it is, without us judging it for bad or good, but simply – an experience – and let ourselves be guided and drawn to experiences that makes us feel happiest ?

We have all we need within and an unlimited potential to create and to make the best of each moment.

Homeless Care Project – The Heart Evolution Foundation

“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving” – Mother Teresa

As many wise individuals have stated throughout history, true change comes from within, it comes from a thought, from a feeling, from an idea and most importantly from the heart. That is the kind of awareness we are trying to share with all, as simple shifts in people’s consciousness can bring the most joyous global changes. We are the change and we are the ones creating it.

Our main intention is to give our assistance and support to all those whom ask for it and whom need it. With this in mind, we have started our first project called “Homeless Care Project.” It emerged in London, UK, but we are hopeful that with the right resources and sponsorship we will extend this project globally.

Our aim for this project is bringing awareness on the situation of homeless people, practical solutions to homelessness and taking action into helping as many homeless people as we can. We are working on providing them with the basic needs a human should have, with comfort, support and care. At the same time, we are teaching them ways they can grow through the homelessness phase and start becoming self-sustaining. Part of this education is presenting them with way they can change their lives. For that, we intend to go to homeless shelters or create events that allow us to connect and speak to them.

First steps of this project started in South London , where we logged a few of the homeless and connected to them on a personal level exploring their needs and how our free training can be implemented in their lives with the objective to empower themselves to be self-sustainable and able to leave the streets. The training combines psychology and meditation techniques as well as counselling . The second stage of the project links to incorporating and facilitating their journey until they are out of the streets.

Sabrina Santos speaks with Tony, our first sponsee  – The Homeless Care Project , started in Clapham August 2015

We have faith in humanity and we believe that there are people out there who hold a great amount of altruism and kindness, enough to actively participate in the evolution of our society. A good example of a person with those qualities would be Aaron Wilson, who is the first person who sponsored the Heart Evolution Foundation’s Homeless Care Project.

Aaron Wilson, company director, says:

” The Homeless Care Project is an incredibly worthwhile cause that I am proud to support. Many understand the meaning of the word ‘homeless’ but are unaware of the situations of those it effects. HCP works to not only raise this awareness and encourage others to take action; but to also directly and positively help those affected by it.

Their direct approach provides accessible ways to really transform people’s lives whilst being supported on a basic level that every human deserves. They will have my ongoing support as they continue their incredible work. “

We are forever grateful for the generosity of people like Aaron, the Director, because it allows us to expand our area of reach.

You can choose to participate as well. As I’ve said before, it all starts with an idea, so if you have an idea about how you can participate in the project and if you feel compelled to do so, you can send an e-mail to Info@thepowerwithinus.co.uk .

Relationships – Venus Retrograde

As we are getting closer to Venus Retrograde, the relationships theme is coming up in the collective energy. This astrological event that lasts until the beginning of September will help us look at our relationships from a different perspective than we have until now and it’s making us go deeper in the Ascension process through Soul growth. The fastest way to grow and expand as an individual is through relationships.

Because we are all at different stages of ascension, in the coming moments everyone will have their own unique experience with relationships, but in essence we all have in common one of these branches I feel guided to share now:

  •  Healing – Basically, this is deep mostly emotional healing that’s been stored in our cellular memory for eons. Intense emotions might surface these days, simply observe and allow yourself to feel them without engaging or attaching any negative thinking towards them.
  • Challenges – We are being tested all the time now and the purpose of these tests is to assist us integrate deeper states of self-mastery and awareness. Again, observe your reactions to certain situations and alchemize them into responses. Try flowing from the heart in every moment. Practice and be persistent.
  • Merging of aspects – If there are aspects of self that we’ve have been previously unaware of or avoided, now is the time to embrace and unify within. Certain relationships will trigger this union.
  • Strengthening connections – This will happen with people we might know or will meet with whom we’ll instantly connect on a deeper level. Many are coming together and form partnerships that will facilitate the collective evolution.
  • Transformation/Transmutation – Anything that is dysfunctional needs to be transformed and transmuted within and in our relationships as well. Again, be aware and observe. We’re all natural alchemists that can shift in a blink of an eye.

I have talked about all of these themes before in my articles, if you’d like to read more details about any of them you can search on the website, but basically this is the core of many of our experiences at this time. In order to flow through these intense energies with ease, a deeper surrendering to it needs to occur, awareness and presence in the Now moment. The rest will take care of itself. Trust. Venus going retrograde in Leo is perfect as the Leo energy is all about simple natural ways of doing things.

Make sure you take advantage of this time to rest when your body asks for it as the energies might be a bit hard on the body due to the activations/upgrades/downloads/transformation we might go through.

Changes are to be embraced and celebrated.

Guided Meditation: Letting Go & Welcoming New Beginnings

If lately we have been guided to take more time for ourselves, go within more often and focus on inner work, from now we’re going to kick it up a notch. That doesn’t mean there won’t be inner work involved, but the energies will shake things up a little bit in the outer as we move forward internally, which is why it is necessary to surrender to the flow and just embrace the changes that are happening. These changes are aligned with our highest good, eventhough at times it might look like the opposite to our minds. If you can manage to quiet the mind and connect deeper within, you will know it is so and integrate that in all your present moments.

That is why I have found this wonderful meditation to assist with the removal of blockages that keep us from moving forward and the surrender of all resistance. Through meditations like this one we can make sure that we are consciously flowing with the changes and we are energetically, physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally ready to do so. Sometimes, unconsciously, changes make us uncomfortable on many levels and that comes mostly from resisting them, which is why we have to become aware of the root of that resistance and shift from there. When we embrace, allow and surrender, we naturally enjoy all the changes as we’re supposed to. They are to be celebrated! Rejoice:

Breaking Up Addictions

Addiction: noun _ The fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance or activity.”he committed the offence to finance his drug addiction”Synonym dependency, dependence, craving, habit, weakness, compulsion

The word addiction carries a negative energy; it’s seen very badly. It’s equal to losing control over something. But it’s also mis-seen by humanity.

See, addiction can get confusing. People tend to really attach this word to drugs and bad actions, and forget to look into it in detail. What is an addiction? What can we be addicted to? And, most importantly why are we addicted to something? What is it that we are trying to avoid so badly that we must obsess about something else to avoid facing it?

Why are we so committed to distracting ourselves from dealing with the truth?

Even spirituality can become an addiction, everything that’s an imbalanced behaviour is equally destructive. It isn’t until we understand the extreme importance of Equilibrium and Harmony in every aspect of our lives that we can really break through all sorts of addictions.

Addictions to affection, to attention, to TV , to drugs, addiction to foods..

drugs-face-pills-sad-photography-art
What is your drug?

It’s definitely a subject for much consideration. As with many things, we think substituting a negative addiction for a more acceptable one is fine. But, in truth it can be equally bad for oneself and those around.

Addictions get in the way of connecting to the all. They blind us, trapping us into self-limitation, We can’t experience the true flow of abundance when we are trapped in compulsive behaviours.

Recently, I have read how Ayahuasca has been a powerful addiction eradicator. How people whom have really bad addictions such as drugs, from heroine, cocaine and crack to cigarettes and alcohol, have managed to find balance within such destructive patterns.

I can only speak from self experience and how my own addictions have shifted and are still shifting. I can say the transformation is definitely happening.

I could speak of miracle stories of people I know, but I wanted to focus on the simplicity.

I want to focus on the magical letting go thing that happens when you surrender to going within. I know each one of us has their own unique and sacred journey to follow. However, I wanted to raise the fact that switching addictions is also not a healthy behaviour.

I speak from my own experience. After my Ayahuasca experience, some of my addictions were showed to me while I crawled through hell. I understood that drinking alcohol is a major distraction, and that it allowed me to escape from finding out more about what I was escaping from.  Taking recreational drugs was the next level of escaping. It was like pressing some sort of pause button to not have to deal with whatever I was hiding from myself.  I already wanted to drop those addictions. I say addictions not because I would do them over and over again, but because I’d do them to escape from something. Every time I took drugs it was more obvious how I was avoiding dealing with myself. And how much I hated the fact that I would still choose to do get drunk or high, even though this cycle only created more pain and un-faced issues.

christianhopkins_depression_photos
Why are we so scared to look within and find out about who we truly are?

We all have demons, and it’s much easier to go by avoiding dealing with one’s darkness. Luckily, all those changes I have been through, including the death of my dear brother Leonardo, were part of a transformational path that is taking place.

While Ayahuasca shook me into realisation, Kundalini Yoga was also a major technology that allowed me to drop addictions. I stopped drinking alcohol or taking any recreational drugs and it gave me a chance to see my relationship with it.  My destructive relationship of self-avoidance. It set me free to rise and go within.

It brought out many other addictive behaviour patterns such as co-dependency with intimacy, attention seeking, anger outbursts and many others, which are things I’m still working daily on.

I guess the most important thing is really awareness to be able to observe, so you can have an understanding of why you do this and how it affects you.

I truly encourage you to do some self-exploring, and with kindness look into your addictions. And ask the questions: what am I running from? What is the avoidance I’m trying to hide with this habit?

Ask yourself for guidance, meditate and go into your heart, ask this wise best friend for help. Let it show you. Let it teach balance. Set yourself free to flow in abundance of all life’s gifts, and let go of limitations and embrace things your heart feels is your truth. Open yourself to unconditional love, say no to duality and separation. And, equally important, forgive yourself for every addiction you had, because they were part of your teaching, you chose to experience them to  help you unleash the power within you; the power you hide so well not even you can see.
