JP Sears And The Ultra Spiritual Power

In a world where we often struggle to understand our own reality, where we slowly start tapping into the knowledge of the Self and de-constructing separation beliefs, laughter can be one of the purest medicines to help us discover our true powers.

Wouldn’t it be just great if we could get to know ourselves deeply and not be afraid of sharing who we are with others? With no fear of judgement, to be able to bring our greatest gifts and share them with everybody?

Well, Jonathan P Sears (mostly known as JP Sears) for sure is doing his best in giving the gift of being himself to the planet. With loads of laughter and an unconventional way to speak about spiritual themes.

JP Sears, the Ultra Spiritual inspiration

JP  Sears is an emotional healing coach and international teacher founder of Inner Awakenings. He has been in the path of self-discovery, empowering others with his gifts and coaching sessions. JP has been working as a coach and healer  for over 16 years. In October 2014, he felt inspired to bring even more of his comic side to YouTube, creating the Ultra Spiritual series.

It’s truly meaningful when you find people in your life who can inspire you to be yourself ! Isn’t that one of the greatest gifts you can give to the world ? To be you ! The most authentic  you.
Sharing his journey JP Sears has told us how he became his most authentic self and was able to let go of previous beliefs he had about his image and how he should or shouldn’t deliver his message; with that said, once he started stepping out of his comfort zone he was able to share with the world more of his personality and deliver his message in a unique talented way.

Here you can watch the full interview and learn a bit more about the man who created the Ultra Spiritual Series and his “secret agenda” behind it (not so secret after all).

I remember watching one of JP’s  videos around a year ago having absolutely no idea what he was on about. The video subject was regarding taking Ayahuasca. Trust me, it’s already a controversial subject by itself. I was very intrigued by the video topic especially because I had just taken part in my first Ayahuasca ceremony. At the time, I didn’t realise what was the point of the video, rather than it’s focus on the comedy side. In fact, it wasn’t until recently after watching more of his amazing videos, I actually realised he was intentionally bringing up certain issues to be acknowledged by the spiritual community, using comedy to bring up those issues.

Here is the famous Using Ayahuasca video that brings up the use of sacred plants in a non sacred way:

It’s funny how one can get lost in the spiritual path and develop an Ultra Spiritual Ego, that was one of the first things that really put me off spirituality, soon after my  “spiritual awakening”. There was a lot of: I’m right – you are wrong , we are better than those who are “sleeping” , unaware of their spiritual side. A   common phrase I hear  from so called “spiritual people” is : “Oh how do you manage to work in the city with all those people sleeping and that terrible energy?! I can’t stand those people”.

Well I guess JP tackles this issues with his videos pointing out how people can be overly judgemental when they walk the spiritual path promoting the very thing spirituality is meant to awaken you from: Separation!

In his videos he points out many of the spiritual community non-sense and the misuse of what embodying spirit actually is, as well as  old  beliefs around themes related to spiritual wisdom and the New Age movement.

One of my favourite things is the fact that his videos are becoming so popular and well received by the “non-spiritual” community, in doing so he is raising awareness about spirituality to crowds that would never  dare to take a look into certain spiritual themes.  I can safely say many of my “non-spiritual” friends are sharing, liking and watching his videos and JP is passing the message, as well as the frequency of his joyful self around the world.

JP’s is a real breath of fresh air and his work has truly touched me and inspired me to bring more of my personality into my work, I ought to be more of myself and let my power within shine bright ,  I even officially compromise in letting out more  of my delightful mad silliness !

I hope his work can inspire you to be You. And be okay with whatever that means, being able to love yourself as you are , spiritual or not . After all .. like JP says: “What the hell is spiritual? Does anyone actually knows what that means ?”

He gives us a true example of how when you allow yourself to be yourself you can not only become a big success but most importantly , bring your Super Powers  to shine their light in the world.

Full Ayahuasca Documentary: Metamorphosis

” Ayahuasca has been used by Shamans and those they help for hundreds if not thousands of years. Found all over the Amazon, Ayahuasca and it’s incredible ability to heal has been slowly but steadily creeping into western consciousness. Metamorphosis is a documentary that follows several westerners as they undergo five Ayahuasca ceremonies and experience the gamut of emotions – from utter fear to outright ecstasy. It also explores the shamans who work with the medicine as well as all the key elements of an Ayahuasca ceremony.

The film also tells the story of Hamilton Souther, who earlier in life had no belief of and in spirit. After having a spiritual awakening, Hamilton is led to the Amazon where he apprentices as an Ayahuascero, or person who practices medicine with Ayahuasca. Hamilton and Maestro Don Alberto (an indigenous master shaman for over thirty years that practices with Hamilton) take us through the ceremonies as well as explain the meaning behind them. “

Full Spiritual Documentary: Heaven Earth

Heaven Earth explores the practice and commercialization of amazonian ayahuasca-shamanism in Iquitos.

The feature-length documentary film portrays all day activities of Percy – a Peruvian healer and another western ayahuasquero, named Ron. Both live near Iquitos and host nightly ayahuasca ceremonies and retreats, mainly for interested westerners.

Participants of ayahuasca ceremonies, tour operators and –guides, as well as western vision seekers reveal episodes of their internal imagery and recount stories about their journeys.

A growing global pop culture – swinging between psychotherapeutic healing procedure and spiritual sell-out.

Full Documentary: Ayahuasca – The Mirror Of The Spirit

“João Meirinhos created a compelling and sublime documentary that reaffirms the power of the world’s greatest traditional medicine, ayahuasca. Assembling an impressive cast of traditional practitioners, aficionados and western converts, ‘Mirror of the Spirit’ bubbles like the brew itself to reveal the essence of the ayahuasca experience. And, like the ayahuasca vine, it entwines the viewer with an authentic and compelling message that is hard to resist.
Grounded in strong ethnographic roots, ‘Mirror of the Spirit’ captures the spirit of this eclectic mix of contributors all of whom have been transformed by the power of the medicine in a myriad different ways. Once again we are reminded that the message of ayahuasca is more relevant today than at any point in our history.”

Research questions:

– Why are, nowadays, mostly foreigners interested in going through the harsh processes of shamanic initiation?
– Do Western and Amazonian shamans share the same cosmological views about the possibility of life after death?
– Has the replacement of religious beliefs for science, reason and capital left a metaphysical void in modern societies?

The Use Of Drugs/Medicines : Recreational Versus Ceremony

I know what I’m about to get myself into .. This is not an easy subject and it’s going to raise all sorts of questioning.

When it comes to taking drugs there is so much duality, self-harm, lack of control, and also a need to connect with something.

I have seen both sides of this spectrum, not only in my own experiences but also in many other people around me in London and all over the globe to be fair.

It’s rather hard for me to fully understand the difference between taking drugs to escape , or drugs to enhance an experience or to do inner work.

When it comes to taking the so called “plant medicines” to heal aspects of Self it all reflects to a search of healing and connecting to Mother Nature. And yes it does work. Mother Ayahuasca is a very powerful tool to unlock so many blockages, to actually get rid of addictions and to look within the depths of Self . It can allow you to connect to the unity of all , it can slow down the mind .. It can also drive you crazy if you are not ready for this jump into other dimensions.

When does ceremony turns into abuse , or does it ever?

But the question I have in mind is what is the difference?  If you are taking MDMA for “fun” or to open to the feeling of unconditional love? What makes a non-synthetic medicine more valid than a synthetic one?

What is the difference? Is it in the mind? Or in the way it’s taken?

Intention sure plays the main part when it comes to anything we do in life, and in any Shamanic ceremony, intention will too play a key role when it comes to healing.

There is so much judgment when it comes to drug taking, but what are people who take drugs looking for?

What are they after?

In a world where many have lost their connection to the divine, drug taking is a cry for help allowing humans to look into a glimpse of their own divinity and to get closer to the collective consciousness. Yes, it can be a magical thing, but it can also can be very dangerous when people abuse it.

When abuse comes in, you are trying to escape from your reality, from your fears. You are rejecting the emotional pain. And I don’t blame or judge anyone for it. Pain is not pleasant, as humans we are not all ready to fully feel and surrender to the divine and look within.

I wrote an article earlier this year focusing on addictions, BREAKING UP ADDICTIONS, but here I just want to focus on the how some people define taking drugs as okay when using it in a more conscious way, or as in a ceremony.

What is my opinion of it? I don’t know…

I truly would like to have an answer, but searching for answers has shown me, more and more, the search itself is pointless.

From personal experiences, drugs have never really helped me, because they never empowered myself to find answers to my own questions. Yes, sure, Ayahuasca has had a massive impact on myself, and how I see the world, but once I learned that way I didn’t have to keep coming back to it. I carried it in my heart; the lessons, the visions, the wisdom.

I also believe everyone is different and people have different paths, and how they choose to open and walk their path is up to them.

But I have suffered in the past with lower vibrations carried by drug taking from myself and others, so I try to gain clarity and understanding that they are not the answer for what I’m looking for or trying to connect with. Yes, they can be used as a great tool, so you can learn how to shift thought different dimensions and connect with consciousness as well as with people in your life.

However, you should be able to do that naturally, as it’s part of your making as a human to be able to have those experiences without having to take anything.  Just by opening your heart, and by opening to the universe.

The answers are always inside, and they then become your external world when you fully embody the unity of all.

That’s why light workers will normally be “against” drugs, because they are already in touch with those high frequencies. Although “against” is not the appropriate term, because they know everything is so perfectly happening the way it should.

Yes, yes, I know this is contradictory, and so is life..

It’s being able to be all and nothing at once. To embrace it all within the eternity of you.

I still have so much to learn, to explore, and to understand, so I’m truly looking forward to the comments on this article.

Thank you for reading,

Love and Light.

Using Ayahuasca And Other Hallucinogenics To Treat Brain Dead Patients And Other Terminal Illnesses.

“Throughout the history of medicine, including the shamanic healing traditions, the Greek tradition of Asclepius, Aristotle and Hippocrates, and the folk and religious healers, the imagination has been used to diagnose disease.”_Jeanne Achterberg

You know when you wake up in the morning and you have some sort of epiphany? Like this idea that lands in your head from nowhere. It’s almost like a whisper, and you have no clue of how it was there in the first place.

So listen to this; it’s just a thought. It’s unquestionable how the effects of hallucinogens have been used to treat mental illness, addictions, anxiety, and to cure physical illness. There are numerous cases of people who launched into the forest looking for the wisdom of the shaman to treat their evil. It is also common knowledge the powerful ayahuasca is being used in prisons in Brazil to give inmates perspective and healing on what has brought them to that place. At the same time, even children have been given the medicine in Brazil, the Santo Daime doctrine is completely legal in the country and is part of their culture, part of their religion – (or should I have said our culture, and our religion? I’m Brazilian after all).

So, the thought that came first thing in the morning was this… Has anyone ever used ayahuasca to treat patients who are considered brain dead? Or how about patients with Alzheimer’s, or any other brain degenerative disease?

Healing With Medicine

I have no idea; that’s why I’m writing this. Maybe I felt very guided to do it because my very own sister is a neuroscientist and is now in Australia developing a work around neuroscientist treatment and cure.

But also it really got me thinking, what happens when you are brain dead? Can someone use or choose to be given hallucinogens in that condition to try and reverse it?

Let’s look at some facts and drop some research, starting with the simple use of meditation.

It’s very well accepted by the scientific community that meditation has numerous benefits to the brain and it can be used for an overall health practice. However, when you bring in medicinal plants which alter states of consciousness and put you in a deep state of meditation, the whole taboo starts.

When Science Meets Spirit

Furthermore, the limitations faced by the current scientific community, particularly neuroscientists, whom have been denied freedom to explore research on hallucinogens as an effective way of treating mental illness and other physical disorders, are a big stone block in exploring the use of medicinal plants (with thousands of years of wisdom) for the benefit of health treatment.

I can only begin to imagine such limitations being lifted. The scientific community could do intense research and use such tools for the treatment of all illnesses.

What would happen if a person considered brain dead was given such devices? Would they come back into consciousness? What would happen if someone with mental illness was treated with the plant medicines?

Ayahuasca And Marijuana – When Mother Nature Calls For Harmony into your life

“Many believe that the dawning Age of Light or Age of Consciousness defines itself in relation to our capacity for unconditional love, our ability to transcend enemy patterning and victim consciousness while adopting unity consciousness that sees divinity in all things. From this standpoint, it might be said humans are evolving into a “biologically conscious” species capable of holding and sharing the full light of unconditional love.” _Sol Luckman

The awakening is happening. Nature is calling us back to her so we can evolve.  In this divine process many of us have been guided and many of us have to understand that losing ourselves before finding our way is too part of the process.

I hear many people looking for a miraculous answer and they think by taking the Medicine everything will be revealed to them. That’s not so simple, nor straight forward. Every soul has their journey which will eventually lead to the same place, Unconditional Love.

Equilibrium is definitely a serious gift while this process is taking place. Graham Handcock , in The War on Conciousness , a banned TED Talk ; brings some very valid points to consider in relation to the sacred medicine and use of psychedelics in our society. Embarking On A Journey Of The Heart

“It’s impossible said pride. It’s risky said experience. It’s pointless said reason. Give it a try whispered the HEART!” _Unknown Heart

If you are familiar with my articles, you will discover that I’m a person of the heart. But what does that actually mean?

It means I went through a big heart chakra opening transformation. It properly started a year ago in October 2014 after my Ayahuasca Ceremony. My heart started to expand. I had many symptoms, and I’m sure if you have experienced this you will be familiar with what happens. Burning sensations, energetic vibrations on your chest, emotional overload and pain.. loads of physical pain.. The chakra is expanding and it hurts, no kidding.

Anyway, it has been a roller coaster. My heart got more and more.. how can I put it .. ALIVE.

I’m not going to talk about the darkest night in this article. Or the suffering of it. I want to talk about the beauty.

The beauty of having an open heart, or an opening heart, is for sure the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. To actually be able to listen, and when I say listen I don’t speak in a figurative way, nope, at times I can actually listen to my heart as a clear voice and a living thing demanding things, guiding me into actions and loving what it wants to love.

I’ve always been fascinated by Hawaii and I never knew why. I always thought it was a combination of things nature, dreamy beaches or adventure sports. It turns out those were just a fraction of what this amazing place has to offer.

Hawaii is a very strong place in the world’s energetic vortex. Which means it has a “magical frequency”. As a vortex, it has intense powers and gateways to other dimensions where we can access and harvest this energy.

“Chakra points and vortexes/vortices reflect the full spectrum of possibilities for humans to align and expand. They represent the collective “higher self” frequencies of your microcosmic body and energetic field. You will be attracted to certain locations to pick up and merge with the specific vibrations presently needed for your growth and evolution.  The frequencies of these locations live within you, even if you are on the other side of the planet!”

When my heart started talking to me and telling me to go to Hawaii on a journey, it didn’t come as a surprise. See, Hawaii is considered the Heart Chakra of the world! The Haleakalā volcano on Maui matches the Schumann Resonance at 7.8 cycles per second, the same resonance as our hearts and the natural state of Earth.

This place is also known to be where the ancient Lemurian civilization lived. Again, this civilization runs on the 5th dimensional energy, which again is linked with the heart vibration.

World’s Hearth Chakra _Haleakalā in Maui Hawaii

So here I go, to start exploring this frequency and follow my heart into this journey on a two week excursion into the depths of Hawaii, just me and my heart.

I’ll be sure to share this incredible experience with you, and wherever my heart takes me I’ll be going with love and faith into life and its mysteries.

There is a saying by Confucius that really is my motto at the moment. It says: “Wherever you go, go with your heart.”
