Often times we tend to look outside of ourselves for things to make us happy; sometimes materialistic things, sometimes a person, an action, a place. We’ve been addicted to attachments of all sorts, but that’s okay, kind of. From how I see it, there are attachments that benefit you in the moment and there are attachments that are completely toxic and unhealthy to you. It is up to each one of us to discern which are which in our own lives.
Most recommended is to simply ask to release and let go of that which no longer serves you (attachments, contracts, cords etc.) and let them be revealed to you, as simply the awareness of them will facilitate their transmutation; not only through mental awareness, although it is included, but it’s not everything and not enough. Your whole-y consciousness will dissolve all that no longer serves you, if you allow it to do so. You however, have to master stillness, presence, balance and groundedness. Practice, dedication and persistence can get you anywhere and you already have all the tools you need to flourish from within. All spiritual practices, techniques and teachings have been made to eventually lead you within. Why is that ? Because within you have all you will ever need. None of these practices is the ultimate one, or the wrong or right one and none of it will give you that which you so constantly seek, but they are the bridge to that.
This constant seeking adventure is a side effect of the amnesia of the dualistic earth. When we are seeking something outside of ourselves, whatever it is, in truth we are paradoxically seeking ourselves, our connection to All that is/Source. Constantly seeking something exhausts you, confuses you, frustrates you, but when you are at the end of the rope, you surrender and when you do it you discover that, that which you were seeking was in front of you, or more specifically within you all along.
It’s alright to go through this process, we’ve been going through it for eons, how else would we discover our godhood as humans ? At the same time, there are easier ways and we don’t have to go through the same exact process over and over again if we become aware of the simple truth that everything we ever need, seek, crave truly is within – “The kingdom of heaven is within.”. Do you feel it yet ? Connect with your inner knowing and consciously integrate this truth in your beingness. All ways are valid, all lead in the same place, it’s just different journeys. All are to be honoured and respected, but things don’t have to be hard, there are always more harmonious ways. When you are living in the flow, when you are the flow, when you surrender and allow life to unfold naturally, there’s no hardship, but the opposite.
I wish I had the power to make everybody understand that suffering is not essential, it is not spiritual or human to suffer. We don’t have to suffer our way to some sort of false spiritual enlightenment, wisdom, success or anything else. This is yet another kind of attachment; an attachment to suffering, pain and drama combined with the belief system that “It’s part of us as humans” No, it’s not, it’s part of the old world programming. We, as humans, are naturally harmonious and joyful by nature, constantly expanding and evolving.
Collectively, we’ve chosen harmony. That is what’s currently manifesting, no matter how it looks like at times. The not so harmonious part that is being played out in some areas of the planet is the residual of the old world, maintained by some who choose to linger a bit more in duality, according to their own Soul plan, growth and decision. Best approach towards this is being the detached observer. The detached observer is always compassionate and doesn’t engage in the drama, because it can see the bigger picture and has the inner knowing that everything that is being played out now is aligned with the greater good. It knows that there’s no right or wrong, good or bad and all just is.
Become your own detached observer as well, it is the neutral state where you no longer judge yourself by your thoughts or emotions and just allow them to flow.
There’s an entire universe within yourself, waiting to be discovered and explored. Dare to look within first at all times and try not to let attachments take over your life. At the end of the day, you are the master of your own life.
