I know what I’m about to get myself into .. This is not an easy subject and it’s going to raise all sorts of questioning.
When it comes to taking drugs there is so much duality, self-harm, lack of control, and also a need to connect with something.
I have seen both sides of this spectrum, not only in my own experiences but also in many other people around me in London and all over the globe to be fair.
It’s rather hard for me to fully understand the difference between taking drugs to escape , or drugs to enhance an experience or to do inner work.
When it comes to taking the so called “plant medicines” to heal aspects of Self it all reflects to a search of healing and connecting to Mother Nature. And yes it does work. Mother Ayahuasca is a very powerful tool to unlock so many blockages, to actually get rid of addictions and to look within the depths of Self . It can allow you to connect to the unity of all , it can slow down the mind .. It can also drive you crazy if you are not ready for this jump into other dimensions.
But the question I have in mind is what is the difference? If you are taking MDMA for “fun” or to open to the feeling of unconditional love? What makes a non-synthetic medicine more valid than a synthetic one?
What is the difference? Is it in the mind? Or in the way it’s taken?
Intention sure plays the main part when it comes to anything we do in life, and in any Shamanic ceremony, intention will too play a key role when it comes to healing.
There is so much judgment when it comes to drug taking, but what are people who take drugs looking for?
What are they after?
In a world where many have lost their connection to the divine, drug taking is a cry for help allowing humans to look into a glimpse of their own divinity and to get closer to the collective consciousness. Yes, it can be a magical thing, but it can also can be very dangerous when people abuse it.
When abuse comes in, you are trying to escape from your reality, from your fears. You are rejecting the emotional pain. And I don’t blame or judge anyone for it. Pain is not pleasant, as humans we are not all ready to fully feel and surrender to the divine and look within.
I wrote an article earlier this year focusing on addictions, BREAKING UP ADDICTIONS, but here I just want to focus on the how some people define taking drugs as okay when using it in a more conscious way, or as in a ceremony.
What is my opinion of it? I don’t know…
I truly would like to have an answer, but searching for answers has shown me, more and more, the search itself is pointless.
From personal experiences, drugs have never really helped me, because they never empowered myself to find answers to my own questions. Yes, sure, Ayahuasca has had a massive impact on myself, and how I see the world, but once I learned that way I didn’t have to keep coming back to it. I carried it in my heart; the lessons, the visions, the wisdom.
I also believe everyone is different and people have different paths, and how they choose to open and walk their path is up to them.
But I have suffered in the past with lower vibrations carried by drug taking from myself and others, so I try to gain clarity and understanding that they are not the answer for what I’m looking for or trying to connect with. Yes, they can be used as a great tool, so you can learn how to shift thought different dimensions and connect with consciousness as well as with people in your life.
However, you should be able to do that naturally, as it’s part of your making as a human to be able to have those experiences without having to take anything. Just by opening your heart, and by opening to the universe.
The answers are always inside, and they then become your external world when you fully embody the unity of all.
That’s why light workers will normally be “against” drugs, because they are already in touch with those high frequencies. Although “against” is not the appropriate term, because they know everything is so perfectly happening the way it should.
Yes, yes, I know this is contradictory, and so is life..
It’s being able to be all and nothing at once. To embrace it all within the eternity of you.
I still have so much to learn, to explore, and to understand, so I’m truly looking forward to the comments on this article.
Thank you for reading,
Love and Light.
